TV old and new

So, I've been watching much terrible TV. Including Hannibal, NBC's attempt to ensure that someone, anyone watches their network even if they have too kill everyone on the show in some gruesome way. I've also been watching The Following. Between the two I prefer The Following because at least it's clear it knows how ridiculous it is, whereas

The Following is deliciously ridiculous. I mean, does it even count as a "cult" anymore when its membership seems to include 80% of the population? JAMES PUREFOY IS HIS OWN MAJOR WORLD RELIGION.

Carolism! It sounds like Catholicism but involves Poe and James Purefoy! Surely if these weren't the most useless FBI agents ever they'd be able to find a house full of something like 5,000 cult followers in about 10 minutes.

I am a member of the church of Purefoy and will follow where ever he goes. That being said, I "watch" the show with the sound off because the dialogue gives me a headache.

Speaking of headache, your sister was right to avoid working on the set of the Vikings. Talk about drear, dour, grim, drab, bloody violent and historically inaccurate. Plus, none of the guys are cute (IMHO). It's boring even when Travis, the guy who plays Ragnar, strips down to his loincloth. Blech!

I second bringing back Dynasty - who cared if the plots made sense. It was a lot more fun and the clothes were better than any of today's reality TV rip offs like "Hollywood Housewives," et al. Etc. etc. etc.

It's all about the shoulder pads. Don't you know.

The Vikings has been a great disappointment to me. Hideous, ugly Vikings who didn't even know where to go and pillage and burn and rampage!

I cannot believe that no one has ever thought to reboot Dynasty. WHAT IS THE WORLD COMING TO?
