I have seen so many ads for Outlander that my head is spinning. I hope they go whole hog and even have that totally creepy sexual healing scene at the end of the first novel. Complete with all the naked running around.

Did you watch the first episode? I really enjoyed it. The general consensus seems to be that it's quite a subdued series compared to say, Game of Thrones, sex and nudity wise.

Have you read the first book or others from the series? I haven't really done that. I attempted starting one mid-series once, but found it enough of a turn-off to stop. I never went back to try to start from the beginning.

I hear that the series is good, but I don't have a burning desire to read it. What do you think about it all?

I read the first book. It was terrible. So terrible. Which means I have high hopes for the series to be total crack.
