Spent a lovely weekend with clubgetright and mr. clubgetright while they were in town on their West Coast trip! We ate all the things and they introduced me to It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia and they indulged the dog so they are my kind of people.
Today was...a day. This last week has been beyond frustrating and also exhausting. I think I'll post something about today on LJ because it is bonkers.
I have a love meme going on @ my LJ so go do that if you haven't.
Going out with my friend Erika either tomorrow or Saturday and I am nervous as hell. Mostly because homegirl goes a lot harder than me. She's sweet though so once I'm put it'll be fine probably.
My parents were in town last weekend! It was predictably great. I always have a good time with them. I've gotten some terrible ok Cupid messages lately. Basically I have given up on most things.
My niece is a week old and continues to be adorable and always rocks a faux-hawk because she has sooo much hair and is stylish already.
I bought a CAR! Which was great, until one of the rear tires COMPLETELY BLEW UP! Luckily, no one (or nothing!) was injured and it was an easy (albeit EXPENSIVE) fix...and it was pretty scary!
I also bought an X-box One, because I've completely lost control of my life and accidentally became obsessed with Assassin's Creed...oops!
I was looking for a car that runs well and is inexpensive, since I only plan to have it for a few years...so I got a 2000 VW Jetta-IT'S RED!!! My old car, the one I sold before my RTW trip, was a 2003 VW silver Jetta...I kind of have a type. :)
I woke up this morning thinking it was Fri, which was a CRUEL JOKE, but today hasn't been so bad. Work is busy and looks like it will be for awhile. I'm glad I'm taking a mini vacation soon because it'll go insane once I get home!
Went to Canada (Windsor) with an old work pal last night, and we stumbled upon a great pub with Wed night trivia. We didn't do too badly, but I was hoping to flex more of my Canadian Trivia muscle. OH WELL.
Looking forward to the weekend, which is going to involve sleep, taking photos, and marathoning Narcos (Pedro Pascal's new show) on Netflix. Yay!
I should go to more trivia nights to see if they ask Canadian questions. They used to slip them in during my old trivia night, mostly to trip up stupid Amerikans, but I always thwarted them.

I started watching BoJack Horseman last night...and I've only seen 2 episodes, but so far, nothing is as funny as this .gif set (http://i-relish-your-wit.tumblr.com/post/127598905261/margaretolson-this-is-killing-me) which was the reason why I started watching the show in the first place. I can not stop laughing...
Hope everyone's week is going well!
