once im done with this phd thingy, im never gonna take on another job thats not gonna let me spend time with the people i love :)

I did my phd with the same reason as you did..and I discovered the same thing as you did. That's why I'm back in Singapore, writing my dissertation. Very hard to concentrate but worth it!
