I am so grateful for the music I listen to. It just makes me feel so much; I don't know what I would do without it. Without music I can't be myself. I can't create, I can't express or reflect properly. It makes everything flow ( Read more... ) -

Ahhh where are the ideas? My brain is broken. All the little sketches I've been doing over the past few days have been so terrible, and I'm feeling really discouraged. I'm just not feeling great in general actually, and when that happens it becomes harder than usual to draw anything decent. Not so great.
I regret to inform you all that I have failed at painting a picture everyday for a week. *heavy sigh* I honestly did not anticipate how busy I was going to be! Nothing Fits
I just finished painting number two of seven. This one was sort of an exercise in letting go. Letting my art be as imperfect as it can be; being messy and out of proportion. There's no way anyone can create anything great without failing a few times along the way. I really need to grasp that, because at the moment I just do not allow myself any bad ( Read more... ) -

I cannot make videos at the moment. Long story short; I need a new editing program. I'm actually quite upset about this, because after being off the internet for a month all I really wanted to do was make a new video...but no. No videos for Mary ( Read more... ) -

lost, lights
I've wasted a lot of days. So unmotivated. I'm sure that once we're finished moving and settled I'll feel fresh and inspired; surrounded by a new place and new people. At the moment I'm stagnant. I have no desire to film, write or draw. My mind is just kind of grey; nothing exciting happening up there. Clouds maybe.

I feel sort of distressed lately. Like I need someone to explain the world to me and give me a step by step guide on how to deal with everything. How to feel okay. How to motivate myself. Orderly.
Whenever anything bad happens that I can't control I usually go and lay on my bed for a while, or stare blankly at the computer not really wanting to do anything...just sitting at the desk because it's familiar and comforting. Then I clean. I iron clothes, straighten my room or scrub the bathroom. It's just the natural response for some reason. I ( Read more... )
