Isn't that funny. It's December already.

That means Christmas is coming.

Which can be clearly translated to: my enslavement comes to an end.

I think this calls for some kind of celebration. After the holidays. I won't risk my sodding neck getting the term of my helotry extended once more.

What will you do with all your new found free time when your detentions are over? Besides owl Mum about every detail of your and my lives.

The content of the letters I write our mother are none of your business. Ha.

And Merlin forbid I should use the time to study.

The content of letters between a son and his mother become my business when they result in inquisitions when I take dinner at home. I would have thought that the contents of discussions between brothers was none of our Mother's business. Ha.

Study? You want to be the first wizard to get highest marks on every single NEWT exam he takes, don't you?

You know that inquisitions can't be avoided at a Prewett family dinner.

You know me so well!

I'm afraid I'm not at liberty to reveal such things where I can be caught and my detentions added on to.

Oh how absolutely splendid, my dear! If we are permitted another trip to Hogsmeade I think I shall buy you a round of butterbeer or something equally pedestrian like that.

Really though, that is wonderful news!
