Time for straight facts:
I've spent the last 4 days in the Czech Republic. 
The majoirty of that time was spent in Prague. 
Prague is one of the most beautiful cities I have ever been in or seen. 
I walked 10 hours each day on a guided tour of the city, and was exhausted at the end of every day.

As of now, I have gotten used to the air, the food, the drink...I don't feel nauseous anymore after eating. However, I am still going to stick to a light diet as not to trigger those feelings again. I got to Krakow on the 5th, and the sickness prevented me from doing too much for too long, but I still saw a fair bit. The first day my dad took me on ( Read more... )

I woke up at 5:30 AM today, and am perfectly rested. My grandpa woke up at the same time, so we hung out and had breakfast together. We downloaded Voipstunt, and called my mom and brother. Also we organized a cell phone here for me in Poland, which I am bringing back with me. I'm pretty sure it's going to stay in Polish, so I will appear super ( Read more... )

I woke up today at 7:00 AM, so I thought I had not suffered jet lag. My grandpa and I went out for a walk after breakfast; we went to the bank, to the Lufthansa agency, and the outdoor market. Now that we have settled in our apartment, my grandparents are going to sleep and I am lounging in the living room. I don't want to sleep, even though I have not slept nearly enough. I am too curious. I don't have an internet connection here, so I am typing up documents that I will post when I have the chance.

We got to the airport 2 hourd early, as is expected for international flights; so, we got here at around 2 PM. The flight was supposed to be at 4 PM, but it is being delayed until 7:30 PM.  The youngest cat disappeared for two days. My mom was crying and my step dad was praying, and then he came back this morning.

Wow.

I'm happy that my days before Poland are so fulfilling and packed. They are spent well and with many people. I like people quite a bit; those who bother me are those who believe that I have alterior motives. It shouldn't be so hard to get to know someone...a coffee is a coffee, not a date unless I say it is.
