I would have protested my brothers homecoming party more had I known that I would return to find that the house was just some melting pot of sex, drugs, and apparently country music. And judging by the stains on my blanket, some of my bedding took part in the sex... aspect...

I had a fairly bad day today. But all the bad stuff was either a fact of life, or the result of an action I'd previously taken. So I can't complain. So I won't.

I'll just go eat pasta and read.

I'm begining to believe that it's a better plan to end a soon-to-be-anecdotal time period while everyone's still smiling.

But then I feel like a wimp, take a deep breath [my poor little lungs aided by some good ol' albuterol sulfate], and step up.

And then 'Tonight I'll by Stayin' Here With You,' by Mr. Dylan will play in the background.

Plans for tomorrow include taking a deep breath and trying to shake off some inappropriate enthusiasm.
