and we would count the evening stars, as the day grew dark

My cat at my new place where i live talks in her sleep.
Sometimes i've seens dogs do that, when they move their little legs and grumble, like they're having an awesome dream about rolling in garbage.
But this is a cat. And she sleeps on the end of my bed.
And she sounds strangely human.
And i wonder what she dreams about.

egypt, i'll bet.

this cat my family used to have had the same problem. it isn't very common, but it's a pretty easy fix. whenever it starts making a racket, spray it two or three times with a water bottle. a stiff-pointed finger and saying "NO" when it wakes up should clear up any confusion.

telling it not to do that anymore can help, too. sometimes, a simple reminder (not a lecture) before bed is all they need.

Do you think rubber sheets would be in order, what with the misting and the high prospect of post-abrupt-awakening-bed-wetting?

And for the record, I personally think a lecture before bed really sets a grand tone. But what do I know? Not much about African Violets, I can tell you that much.

What'd you do Darfur? seagullheadguy May 12 2006, 16:02:52 UTC
maybe. or you could just hold her over the toilet.

i think the only african violet worth knowing anything about is oprah winfrey.
did you know that crayola made her her own purple crayon? take that, angelou!
