if one one ONE more person reads/pretends to read _One Hundred Years of Solitude_ or Love in the Time of Cholera_, and then blathers about the profoundness of it based exclusively on its region of origin being somehow more mystical and/or spiritual, I'm going to discard both them sumbitches from my stacks. personally, i really feel that One Hundred Years of Solitude really spoke to the profound injustices that are univerally human whilst still retaining it's south american vibrancy and flavour...
how's that?
