"Hearts and Minds"
Every time I hear the phrase "hearts and minds" fall from the lips of a Pentagon spokesperson, talking head or reporter discussing the American involvements in the Middle East, I feel queasy. Ok. Call me reactionary. I don't think we have the Evil Capitalist system that the Left loves to hate. At this point, when the Progressive President's administration supports the "too big to fail" label for Citi, AIG, etc, then the key part of capitalism that is regenerative and corrective is lost ( Read more... ) -

Suicide Gunman
That Nidal Malik Hasan, the alleged Ft Hood gunman, may have offered clues starts an odd chain of discussion. Given the fuss over "racial profiling," how could the military or law enforcement his religious or family origins as cause for concern? Healthcare "Debate"
