Do it. When my grandpa was dying when I was about 20, I made myself go visit for 5 days about 2 months before he went (my first time visiting him completely by myself, no parents) & I'm so glad I did. He said so many funny/memorable things that I will never forget. I don't know your grandma, but I think even though she's saying she really doesn't want you to come, deep down she'd probably be happy to see you one last time. It would also be easier for you to make peace with yourself. My philosophy is that it's better to regret something you did than something you didn't do.
