I'm home sick today with interview-itis. Woo! It's a downtown posting for a one-year mat leave, but I'm okay with that. Not sure about the pay, there was a range, and again my asking price is at the top of it, so we'll have to see. Also, with the cruise being next Friday, I'm not sure how well it's going to work. We shall see!

Alright then. So, it turns out my police check came back today! I expected it to come back shortly before the cruise, but instead, it came today. Huzzah! Hopefully I'll be able to give all the forms to J's brother's girlfriend's mom (heh) on Saturday, and the process will begin to get me a board employee number. Woo!

So, nothing has changed much since I last updated. Still no real job prospects, but I've filled out the forms and gotten the necessary TB test and police check done (still waiting on the police check) in order to start applying to work for the Peel Board of Education as a "school secretary". Wow, it has been a busy few days. Christmas was nice, New Year's was nice. There was really no downtime though, which is poopy. I've still got some major blahs...I'm feeling more down than I've felt in a few years.
