In some cultures, ringworm is a sign of virility. Stop being so racist, okay?

Word fatty, you really called me out on that.

They're still not allowed in the house though.

Um, and Band-Aids?
No.
The worst way to spread ringworm is to COVER IT UP!

I'm speaking from experience here. About 13 years ago, my cat got ringworm, and he just *loved* to rub on my legs in the normal cat fashion. And the little darling got that shit on me ... and it was not fun getting rid of it.
What's worse, is that it can stay on material for years ...
It's a bacteria, and it can spread like wildfire, so without propper medical treatment, your friends, your cats, and even YOU could be covered in it.
I saw a doctor right away, and he gave me these nifty pills, and my case was eventually cured.
But it did suck being the only kid in the fifth grade running around the playground in May wearing PANTS.

The cat is not in the house, and Tish and Marcia barely are either.

They are treating it with cream, but it's fucking NASTY.
They have no insurance or anything...but they may need to go to the clinic.

It's grooosss.

yes i agree with tris, NO BANDAIDS
also, you dont have to go to the dr. its not a bacteria, it a fungus. which means its killed/cured by Tinactin. you know, the stuff that 'cures atheletes foot' yep!!! same stuff. apply liberally and often to the affected areas and dont cover it thinking it will keep the medicine on. it will only spread under the adhesive of the bandaid. i too speak from experience:( oh and it is extrememly contagious. obviously from cat to person, but also person to person. so be careful

damn, i have too much useless information stashed in my little head.
