Ohh goodness! Erika!! You are JUST the person I have been looking for. For my history class I have been asked privately by my teacher to write a letter to Congress addressing the very issues you have talked about here. I am requesting help from people by asking for statements on how they feel. Would you like to be included? I would love to have a statement from you because yes, you do get so passionate about thigns and thats excellent! Basically its about all the issues in your post plus like on one of the federal building theres Moses holding the slabs that represents the 10 commandments, should we have soeone go chizzel (spelling?) it out just because of that?! I mean, its ancient art, it shouldn't matter. Also, I hate it break it to all these grrr people, but the 10 commandments do not apply to simply one religion and thats one of their biggest arguements, they fight that the government can't support one religion, but Moses (holding the slabs of 10 commandments) was Jewish! I'm sure people would put money that says "in God we trust" down if there was another form of American money to use. But alas, there isn't so Athiests and people alike are stuck using that particular type. Unless you'd like them to starve or go without clothing or shelter.
