As someone who reads but does not write fic, I really appreciate any fic that writers share! You guys are amazing to me. Just amazing! So I hope this does not sound douchey but I've missed* you writing them too!

AND LUKE'S GUITAR. Which is, like, my most favorite Stompin' Tom song of all time besides the Hockey Song. And you know Alex has already memorized the words so he can sing along and further traumatize Scott's delicate pretentious sensibilities. :D

(Hmmmm, Steve and Kono having to huddle together for warmth for some reason and pinky-swearing to never tell anyone they did that? If not, Alex and Grace non-sexy cuddling and affectionate mocking.)

...okay. I am now picturing Alex singing along with the ipod (it's Scott's, but Alex hijacked it, erased all Scott's music, loaded it with nothing but Canadian artists, and then set the language to Mandarin, just to fuck with him), and I am DYING. To the point where I am laughing so hard I wheeze and also end up doing that half laugh/half snort thing. Also, you know I'm putting Stompin' Tom on my own ipod now, right?

(I will totally write that for you! Gimme a little bit. Although, to save the spirit of this post, I'll put it up in my own journal.)

It is a good place to visit! Just go in the spring/summertime. The winters, even the mild ones, are not fun.

I have been operating under a strict 'no reading Alex/Scott RPS' rule since I discovered Hawaii Five-0 - because I'm working on a stupidly long Alex/Scott epic myself and I didn't want to mess myself up reading other versions of the pairing until I after finish mine - but I broke that rule for this and it was so worth it!

High fives for our mutual Canadiana...mounties and hockey and being polite, but super duper bonus points to you for Stompin Tom Connors! And your boys are adorably in love. "I just wanna get drunk and grope your ass in a crowd of people." Me, too, Alex. Me too! =)

Toronto has been my home for my entire life. This fic just makes me proud about that. Slush - the goddamn slush! Thanks for mentioning the slush. Do you know how many times in my life I've been slushied by buses? Full on dripping from my bangs slushied.

Live music, China Town, The CN Tower. The subway! Do you know how many times I've had strangers on the subway start talking/crying at me because their mom wouldn't let them wear purple mascara even though they are in their 30's....My friends and I would spend whole days riding the subway all around town because its cheap and there is always one crazy on each cart and if you can't find it, you become it.

And if it's not apologising, it's making everything into a question. "I've got a car, eh? And it's cold, yeah? And then it won't start, right? You were lucky you weren't there"

So just yay!Go Toronto and go these two, eh?
