Dir en grey & Panic! at the Disco - Live Report

Nov 09, 2009 15:20

My first time in a festival, yay! Or not that yayish, since the day didn't go as I had planned.

However, I constantly thank God for Panic! at the Disco, bitmoo and my sister for saving days like those. x3

Completely jealous about Panic! because I absolutely love love love them. Brendon is sooooo awesome and adorable.

And well, I am 100% with you when it comes to Dir en Gay. I have 0 respect for Kyo, and it makes me so incredibly mad that they're all just shitting their talent away on the garbage they've been recording for the past four years. I gave up on them a loooong time ago and I don't ever plan on bothering with them again.

It is undeniably rude to ignore your fans like that, especially if they're equally as cold to their native fans. Disgusting, is all I have to say. If it weren't for the people who buy your albums, go to your shows, and tell other people about you, you would be nothing. Show a little appreciation, really...

I'm really glad you had fun during Panic! though :)

Aw, don't be! They're American, I'm sure they'll have a concert someplace near you! :DDD And yes, he IS. ♥

Yeah, I know how you feel. >_> I hated "The Marrow of a Bone" and I gave "Uroboros" a try, but I gave up halfway through the album - everything sounded the same. -__- Oh well, I won't be bothering with Dir en grey anytime soon.

And about the fans: that's exactly what I think. I'm really surprised that hardcore Dir en grey fans seem to think it's okay for him to act like that and even defend him when he's criticised for it. I don't get it, really.

Hopefully you'll get to see them too! :DDD

He is incredibly huggable! O___O I agree! I kind of wish I had tried to win one of the meet&greet things for Panic! just to do that, haha. XD

For a second there I thought I missed your GLAY reports XD

Sucks that dir en grey was a letdown, especially considering how much you paid. I never liked the band personally, but if I were a fan I'd be pretty upset. You're nothing without your fans, I dunno why some bands don't understand that :\ it's awesome that your sister got a pick though! And at least you had fun during PATD :B

Nooo, I'm just THAT lazy. XD My computer is actually back now, so I guess I'll be able to post the reports BEFORE December. XD 2 months already since the concerts!

Yeah, the weird thing imho is that the Diru FANS weren't upset. 8D They defended Kyo and they're all somehow "proud" of him and of the concert in general. I guess that's why I never felt at ease in the Diru fandom... This is just not for me. GLAY and B-T is indeed where I belong, hehe.

Yes, the pick is niiice! I hope I get one someday. XD *is very unlucky* And yes, PATD saved my day. ♥

Psh yeah anytime someone asks me if I'm seeing Diru I'm like "maybe 7 years ago" cuz seriously, I like my music to be music and not just a bunch of noise and screaming/growling/gargling. >_< They were really one of my favorite bands back in the day.. then I don't know what happened.. but yeah they're totally wasting their talent, even Kyo whose voice I really liked now justs wastes it doing his retarded chanting and screaming on stage. I've always liked Die tho, so I'm happy he was chipper... really tho wtf with them being so cold.. I can understand maybe if they were nervous playing somewhere new.. but if they actually act like that back in Japan too NO EXCUSE. They can go back to being indie and playing dive bars to get a few bucks then, they don't deserve their fans.

KIRITO! ♥ I didn't know you liked PIERROT, hehe. They used to be my 2nd favourite band. :3

Exactly what I think! :DDDD I'm glad I'm not alone on this, hehe - 'cause it surely did I was the only one depressed after the concert. x__x I really wished I could have seen then years ago, too...]

We've been spoiled by Teru. XD I was reading my reports last night and I think I've gotten used to a charming vocalist who talks to everyone and makes sure to reply each "I LOVE YOU!" he hears. xDDD

Hehe yesh I <3 Pierrot, and Angelo too~

Yeah dude if I had been there Iwould have been just as depressed/angry as you. Yanno I've been to a lot of concerts, and I think most if not all of the bands I've seen have interacted with the audience and shown some love to some extent. Apparently Kyo is just too cool for school. >P

I didn't like Angelo that much! xD I loved "REBORN" and the second single, but then when the first album came out I couldn't bring myself to like the songs... I even had it on my iPod and occasionally listened to it when I left the shuffle thing on, but it sounded like Kirito was angry. x.x I dunno, I once read something on the net about Angelo being Kirito all angry and bitching at Aiji and Jun after PIERROT's ending and it certainly sounded like that to me. xD LM.C is fun and totally not srs bsns and ALvino was nice too. Do you have Angelo songs to rec me to see if I can change my mind about them?

I'm not that experienced when it comes to concerts as you are, but I agree 100% with you. At least that is what always happened when I attended them. o_ob Apparently Kyo is being nicer now in the NYC concerts, but I'm still frustrated. -_-b
