Contraception, these days, is not just a "right", but a responsibility these days. I have had people tell me, a married woman with a husband who is a good father and a good provider, tell me that I am irresponsible for having so many children. I can never figure out what they mean- maybe its all this carbon footprint gibberish they're worried about. My ob/gyn is part of an all Catholic practice and they're constantly pushing birth control and tubal ligations. The waiting room is so full of drug company literature that it obscures the outdated collection of magazines.
If I were to get a diagnosis of HIV, that would be the end of my sex life, period. The idea that people can't control themselves or live without sex is bizarre. Maybe they would if everyone stopped assuming that they can't.
