Lost

That Lost finale was the most amazing thing ever. I have questions and confusion, but what an epic story and so beautifully crafted. When they said they had it planned out, they weren't kidding. Gah, love. Now it would be nice to hear the showrunners' interpretations of it but even if they don't I feel completely satisfied with it in every way. ( Read more... )

Oh YES, Claire and Charlie!! ♥ ♥ How could I forget them? Wasn't that just beautiful when he couldn't stop looking at her in the audience? And then their flashbacks really made me cry. BEAUTIFUL!

Oh... that was one of my favorite parts! I actually went running out of the room at commercial yelling to my sister: "They're back together again! They're finally back together again!" *grin*

I gave up sometime through S3 but I'm pleased you got some answers. Perhaps with it all done and dusted I'd be tempted in a quiet moment to pick up again and finish it off.

Oh yeah, you're not alone. I gave up in Season 4 a couple of years ago because the flashes just weren't grabbing me anymore. But in the last two months I picked it up again so I could experience it all w/no commercials straight through and watch the finale. It's such a fantastic show. It's best when you can watch it without having a week wait between episodes, too. I bought Season 1 years ago and that had always been my favorite season, but Season 5 was pretty damn awesome. Perhaps you will give it another chance. :)

For me - the show was always about the characters - and all the mysteries and questions were all just a way to introduce us to these amazing people. So I could not be happier that in the end, it was the characters that mattered. I feel so completely fulfilled with the ending. :-)

I'm with you, completely. The mysteries of the island intrigued me and confused me at the same time, but I adore the characters! The show really took them on a fantastic journey. Beautiful, heartfelt ending. ♥

Such a BEAUTIFUL ending! I absolutely loved it and was very satisfied. I loved all the mythology but when it really came down to it, I cared more about the characters I've loved the past 6 years. And yeah I've been a Jater since day 1 so it makes me happy that they finally got to be together in the afterlife. And Sawyer and Juliet too!! Really I just love that they all got a happier ending in the afterlife. And they could totally do a spinoff on Hurley and Ben's years of protecting the island! lol.

LOL that's what I said too! When Hurley was taking the responsibility and Ben was sitting there, I was thinking... there's the Lost spinoff. I loved it when Hurley asked Ben for help. Just a few minutes before, he said that he'd never been special but you could see how touched he was at Hurley's request. I will miss Hurley! And I will miss the gorgeous, beautiful writing of this show.

I'm so satisfied to see Jack and Kate together in the end and Sawyer and Juliette.. my god that scene at the vending machine!!! *heart gushes* Perfect for the four of them. ♥

I feel like I could stop watching TV forever after this finale because it was the absolute finest episode of television that I have ever seen. I laughed, I cried (A LOT!), I cheered...I loved every minute of it and I am left in total awe of the achievement Lost culminated in. What an incredible TV show!!

Gah, I know.. it was amazing. It was the perfect ending for some very beloved characters. I don't know if I've ever seen a finale with a more fitting end for the characters, except maybe the Farscape finale. Just gorgeous.

One of the things I love about Lost is that it's a smart show. It really makes you think about these connections and what it all means. The finale was no different, as I continue to work out the details. But all through trying to figure out the puzzles, the characters were there to keep my heart firmly implanted. You're right, incredible show!!
