This is freaking amazing.

I spent too long staring at Ronon's dreads and awesome they looked.
Then I got distracted by Elizabeth's hair, and clothes. Made me wish she had a similiar hair style on the show. Then I drooled over the pretty that is Rodney and Telya, with their fedoras and coats all pulled up to cover their necks.

Drawing Ronon's dreads was a bit of a challenge - the clothes & Elizabeth's hair (based on Lauren Bacall's hairstyle) was just fun.

These are gorgeous and I love the book covers! Heee! All of the portraits are really, really good, and I LOVE Elizabeth's hair, but there's something so...real...about John and Teyla, like they're photographs, or or just frozen before they breathe or move or speak.

I'm not expressing myself well, but it's 3 am. Lovely job.

eeeee Thank you for commenting so late! Elizabeth has Lauren Bacall's hair style because it is just so iconically noir-ish.

My goodness ! I don't know if I want to marry you, your Teyla or your Elizabeth ! Can I have both ? You're amazing, the portraits are incredibly realistic and beautiful at the same time and the noir ambiance is perfect, I love old detective atmospheres and you managed perfectly. *right-click and save as wallpaper... no evil use, don't be afraid*

Ha! Thank you *g* I've read a fair few old detective novels, and I immediately thought of trying for a book cover style.
