I'm pretty relieved the mild humour worked, but I was having too much fun making the covers, to stop at just 2.

Oh, man. SO MUCH AWESOME.

I love them all - John really does work better as the wealthy, dissolute playboy than the homme fatale. And Teyla is wonderful!

I love the book covers.

I'm glad John suits the playboy - he refused to pose otherwise. I started out with only 2 covers but had to do the whole set *g*

OMG I've been staring at these! The colors are amazing and its noir!!! Detectives and their hats and its styling and just the bomb!

Teyla is gorgeous and vibrant!

But John! With the flower in his lapel and his shirt is unbuttoned in "Dangerous to Know" because I notice such hotness. But really this is beautiful and the covers are just extra bonuses!

Ha, I'm pleased you saw the sneaky extra bonus shirt undone in Dangerous to Know. I had to add an extra little bit to the book cover for my pairing of choice *g*

Holy crap.

Those are amazing--I really really love Elizabeth's hair in particular, but dude just. Wow in general. The colors! A friend of mine (nochtli) is wondering if you take commissions, 'cause she'd totes pay for a piece...? (Also, I'd like to know if you'd mind me iconning these, with appropriate credit to you?)

Thank you! I gave Elizabeth Lauren Bacall's hairstyle because it looks so very 40s.

I'm afraid I'm not taking commissions, tho I'm very flattered. I'm doing the art as stress relief (work is hell *g*) and I'm trying to keep things fun and casual. I'd feel guilty if a commission didn't work out right, and then there would be stress ...

A couple of other people have asked for icons, too. I know from experience my art doesn't always translate well to icons, but I can try to tweak the paintings to work better at icon size and provide some better bases, if you like.
