ugh. you can't just take select portions of a particular creed and then internalize them like there's nothing else to it.

the bible was written by people. they weren't bigots, but they were a reflection of the times in which they were writing. these times today, are not those times. fuck who you want to fuck, smoke what you want to smoke. you don't need to be straight to get into heaven because in heaven, nobody fucks. jesus wasn't afraid of queers or whores or tax collectors or sinners. he loved them the same way he still loves you.

keep in mind that every religion, be it christianity, judiasm, jainism, toaism, wiccanism, or any other religion you can think of, is just an attempt by humans to personify an impersonal universe. in all likely-hood, none of it really matters.

i second the god doesn't care who you "fuck" thing. believe what you will, you should live in the way that brings you contentment/comfort, no one gets out of it alive, so you may as well enjoy the "alive" you have. forgetting the religion thing for a moment, as long as you love completely and live fully, don't sweat the rest.
