And I have 2 connections on the way there and 1 connection on the way home. I think that helps cut costs too.
Also, I'm pretty sure that it's cheaper to fly standby, but I'm not quite sure how one would go about getting standby tickets.
I'd check some airlines' websites and see what kind of holiday deals they've got. here's Northwest's, for example.

Okay I have used this site before and have been very happy I checked on prices tax included for you would be around 412.00 something like that, I would hurry and book the tickets though they tend to go fast! Good luck.

My mom was explaining that to me in a last-ditch attempt to get me into Minneapolis for Christmas... I'm probably not going home, but if I am I'll be surprising them. : )
