Darn right understand it, buddy. Gosh darn it, I'm part of the team. I help...in ghostly kinds of ways. These people are my friends, and there isn't anything you can do about it!

So really, don't exorcise me. Because Honest to Pete, I'm a good ghost, I don't want to go anywhere.

Exorcism

Your position on this plane of existence is not threatened. Nor is your residence in this building. I simply find myself unable to come to grips with the idea of a resident crime-fighting ghost. I can't imagine what your role in the team is, apart from perhaps lifting mugs and trading repartee.

However, it is Angel's decision that you are a valued member of the Wolfram and Hart team, and as such I would like to work with you (or at the least, delegate someone else) to find what special abilities you may have. Everyone must do their part for the Wolfram and Hart team, and hopefully we can find what it is that you can do best.

I'm not a part of the Wolfram and Hart team. I'm part of the Angel Investigations team. And I don't really fight the crime. I'm more of a...something that's supportive, I think.

And I'm really good with an exfoliator.

I never said nothing behind nobody's back that I wouldn't say to their face. And I never said nothing nasty to nobody who treated me right. I ain't asking to be treated like no prince, not after everything I done. There's a reason why I got this damned job, I know that. But what I AM asking for is common courtesy

It may be worth noting that there are some critical differences between Eve and myself. She was busy with her own side projects and little games. I, on the other hand, care about my employment, and only my employment. When I go to work every day, it is to do everything I can for the team.

Do you understand that? Can you? Perhaps it is exactly this attitude that placed in this position in the first place. I would have supposed that you might have learned your lesson after all these years. But lecturing you on team spirit, I suspect, will be useless.

What I can do, however, is refer you to the options above, with the added proviso that any discourtesy to myself will be responded to in kind. I am trying to help you, and in turn, help Wolfram in Hart.

I assure you, there is a big picture, and it is worth taking the time to see.

And I, in me own way, am trying to help you. Not that it'll do you much good. Nobody EVER seems to learn their lessons around this place until it's too late. Everybody's too bloody ambitious! When Mr. Macdonald was the golden boy around here I used to tell him to be careful, but he wouldn't listen. Well, the poor bugger will pay for it now.

Oh, nevermind. You're not near as rotten as some I've seen, so I'll try and keep out of your way if you keep out of mine. But I don't want no deals with the senior partners, thank you kindly.
