I'm pretty sure they don't let you keep the cyst so you can take pictures of it.

Were you under local or general anesthetic? I think they probably didn't want to hang onto it until Rainy woke up.

OMG, scary! I'm glad it all worked out ok in the end. Good to know about the veneers, though. Those things are freaking expensive and it wouldn't have been nice to pay an extra few thousand dollars if they'd cracked them. =/
