In the book Pattern Recognition (which is a good book by William Gibson) the protagonist goes on about how when you travel the soul takes longer to get there than the actual body. I read this article a few months ago about jet-lag. The people researching it thought it had to do something with your body being adjusted to certain amounts of light during certain times of the day.

But, in your book's theory... it explains this gypsy problem you and I keep doing.

I think this whole gypsy deal might be hereditary because my mom does it too.

Not all the time. But sometimes I get to feeling so lost and so frazzled that I wonder if it's really a good thing. And when the concept of home is so lofty... I don't know.
It's not something I want to stop. For now, though, I think I need to rest and let my soul catch up.
