YES!! I saw it the other day and thought it was one of the best movies I have seen in a while. Julianne Moore got Palin down perfectly!! And Ed Harris as McCain wasn't bad either. And seeing her in the movie made me dislike her so much more. MSNBC's Lawrence O'Donnell interviewed Steve Schmidt, who was McCain's senior campaign advisor, on Monday about this movie and he said it was very accurate. Dang!

My thoughts after watching? Sarah Palin definitely help sink McCain's campaign.

If this were a Shakespearean tragedy, Palin's tragic flaw would be hubris. I ended up feeling sorry for McCain by the end of the movie; despite what he has said, I think the movie actually makes him out to be a fairly decent guy who's just trying to do what it takes to win. BUT, as I said at the time, nothing in this situation makes him look like a strong leader-- he basically let his campaign team make the big decisions and stayed out of it-- that's not what we need in a President.

Anyhow, I thought the movie was very well done and am actually going to go rewatch it.

Actually, the United Kingdom is just short for The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland :) . Great Britain and the United Kingdom are shorts for the same thing and are interchangeable.
