Woody is shooting his new film over there with Penelope (pronounced, "pee-nah-lope"). Please stand around his set and snap numerous pictures of the genius at work for me. And make sure to ask him, if you get a chance, if his films are autobiographical and where he gets his ideas. I hear he loves that.
If you can, visit that blue house. I don't remember what it's called. It has to be the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.
Go to the top of the gratuitously large and unfinished cathedral -- actually I'm not sure that it's still unfinished cuz I was last there in 2004. Take the stairs when you can. Trust me.
When you go to the overwhelmingly awesome market, watch your ankles. Actually, I'd recommend wearing boots. The old ladies with their pushcarts are RUTHLESS.

I'm actually doing rather splendidly for only having seen sunlight for twenty minutes since the seventeenth of October. No, really. I swear, it kinda was in a twisted way (a little spiral fracture humor) the answer to all of my issues. The only drawback: I don't see my cats as often as I like cuz they live in my fathers studio/barn and I can't get there on crutches and I can't play in the Roller Derby finals. The latter is particularly annoying because for the first time in three years I actually think I'm becoming pretty damned good.
Can you help me... Well, I don't even know when I'm getting back to NYC. I don't feel comfortable living alone until I can walk -- I've already fallen once on the crutches even with my father standing behind me. (He should have been in front of me, a miscalculation.) So I may be here til Christmas. But we'll see.
You can always bug me here or in email land or send me recs for my Netflix queue...
