holy crap, girl. That was bloody beautiful -- all new ways to describe something as old as cliched-bloody-time -- and *damn*. I mean . . . He's going to beg now. / Sirius will say yeah, Moony, m'gonna do it.. Damn! You use words like weapons . . . and I'm forced to abuse elipses in response. :)

The entire first paragraph is absolutely mesmerizing. The contrast of ice and cold and melting -- and connection between inside and out . . . it's beautiful. DAMN.

And of course you killed me at the end. Because rather than PWP, it's fucking without Sirius loving him, and that absofreakinglutely kills me dead. *sighs*

OK, I can take the 'he doesn't NOT love him' under advisement, because that's marginally better and after rereading I can totally see that in the sometimes kisses. But it STILL KILLS ME DED. Because I want to kick him in the shins and tell him to stop being so bloody careless with something that matters.

Seriously, the image of Remus alone in his bed as Sirius walks away is like . . . nnnnngggghhhhhh.
