Outside a cloud tore and the sweet grass smell crept into the Shack. Rain pattered against the glass just as Sirius crawled into the space damp between Remus's chin and shoulder. "Moony," he muttered, his voice hoarse and fond, "Moony, someone's pouring rice on the roof. The worms are coming. The pebbles-"

oh, lovely.

Oh wow, the imagery in this was enrapturing and beautiful. I am completely enthralled.

His eyes kept wandering to the shockingly dark shadow between Sirius's legs and he decided it wasn't wrong of him. Sirius's eyelids were petal pink and shuddering in a half doze and even if they weren't, he thought, I could still stare and stare and he'd do the same and it wouldn't be wrong.

You take my breath away.

I am running late for class but don't care coz this is so many kinds of fantastic and I loved that Remus was talking absolute crap for once [though I do understand the worm smell COMPLETELY OMG] instead of Sirius, but then you just topped it off with

which is just about the best thing I have EVER read. No really.

You do not fail, you win at life, woman.
