Ummm, well I've kind of spontaneously agreed to go out with friends after work. Generally, I don't do that, and I'm always reluctant, but I find if I leave a br-prepared bag at work, then I'm okay going, because I am prepared.

Insane in the Migraine

It's that time again cats and kittens....that time of year when all of the good girls and boys here in our little non-for-profit neck of the woods put on grown-up clothes and shoes and go to the ballroom at the Hyatt. Awards are given silent and live auctions are conducted and we basically sing for our supper.

My former suite-mates from college came up to visit me this weekend. I was really feeling anxious, nervous and just really unsure about the whole thing. SO, this morning, per usual, I waited about 35 minutes for a redline train that was filled to capacity once it reached my fairly north stop. Baby Dreams: A Brain Under Seige from a Late-20's Uterus
So, for about a week straight I was having dreams of wee ones, both pre-natal and post-natal. Last night was the first dreamless night I've had in a while. SOOO, the dreams go like this; either I am like 8 months pregnant, huge as a house and skipping merrily along the streets of Chicago. Perfect Vacation
