SO you know how I was totally going to divorce CTA and badmouth my former spouse in the streets? I've decided to hold-off on that. On Friday night I had a crazy marathon of welcome drinks for a new co-worker downtown, racing North on the Red line home to change clothes, hoping back on the Red line to go down to the South side for an Affinity kick

I think your co-workers are pushing it. I think you're right, it's not your job to do someone else's networking and you deserve a social life. Personally, I don't want to think "hmm, could I somehow network with this person" EVERY time I go out or meet someone new.
