New glasses!

So, I can see, and this whole "clarity" thing is pretty sweet. Also: I'm walking the fine line between hipster-trendy and, well, me (which is to say, I still rock the nerd look pretty hard). Also: my hair cooperated for about twelve seconds today. Those twelve were not consecutive, nor were they in the vicinity of when I took the picture. Sigh.

Those glasses are adorable!

Ryan told me the secret of taking digital photos of yourself to show off on the internet - go in the bathroom and check the framing in the reflection of the viewfinder in the mirror. That's why so many Myspace photos have towels and stuff in the background!

That's exactly what I was doing, but at the bedroom mirror. Which has the added complication of nine thousand books piled in front of it, but whatever. I do love the digital camera, where I can delete all the hundreds of attempts that came out poorly.

I swear I'm smiling. Really.
