For those who haven't heard yet, or didn't get details:  Please welcome Julian Alexander Papa Danner, born at 9:23 pm on February 10.  6lbs 8 oz at birth and now undoubtedly slightly more because he eats like a little piggy.  A cute one, though. :)  We are tired but enamored.  He is cute but surly in car seats.

This map shows the town-by-town results for the presidential election.  (Note: map takes a minute to load; be patient.)  Cambridge was tied for the second-best town for Obama, with nearly ten times the number of Obama votes as McCain (40,464 to 4,662).

A long time ago, I used to do a lot of creative writing. Long, sprawling stories. In the summer between 8th and 9th grades, I wrote an actual book--not a very good one, but over a hundred word-processed pages. But now? Nuttin'. So, I can see, and this whole "clarity" thing is pretty sweet. Also: I'm walking the fine line between hipster-trendy and, well, me (which is to say, I still rock the nerd look pretty hard). Also: my hair cooperated for about twelve seconds today. Those twelve were not consecutive, nor were they in the vicinity of when I took the picture. Sigh.
