 So now that I've been back in Australia for a few months, I thought I'd review the things I said I'd miss/wouldn't miss and things I was looking forward to, from my previous postings made before I arrived. I miss you too! It's not the same without you! I'm having to try so hard at work to not constantly say to the newbies 'when Erin was here', or 'yeah, Erin always sorted that out'...
Here's another item for your 'not missing' list - water cooler emails!
I'm delighted you're happy back home, and it's sounding sorely tempting. Don't think could persuade Graham to emigrate though, and my family wouldn't come with us.

Well, I'm glad I'm being remembered in some way - as an annoyance to people who've never even met me by the sound of it!
And oh god, no, I definitely do NOT miss emails about the #~'*£%^ water cooler!!

I wish I had a washing machine without a giant, vicious agitator!!

I also miss waking up to a warm house, Canada doesn't get that either. YOu'd think they would at least do heating well here...

If you are ever in a position to purchase your own washing machine, then I highly recommend the LG 'Fuzzy Logic' model. It's brilliant. The only problem being LG is a very expensive brand here, so I'm wondering if I'll be able to justify buying one when we cease to rent our white goods!
Canadians don't 'do' heating? I guess they expect everyone to be hardy (and travel by dog sled?).
