Dude, you just dont understand. The caliber of writing of B5 makes Tolkien look like Clive Cussler (who is also good). The REASON why I like it is because, and only because of the writing that came from the mind of JMS (the writer/creator/producer). Granted I like sci-fi, but to be honest, I'm not a big Star Trek fan, and I only like Star Wars because of the special effects. All of the sci-fi I read is written similarly to the B5 style, and plus Isaac Asimov is hands down the best sci-fi writer of all time, there's no argument with that.

Plus LOTR is fantasy, and fantasy is for losers, so suck a :--

first of all...fuck sci-fi...I fucking hate that shit and it's like pulling teeth to watch it or to read about it in a post. Secondly...I hate to say it but all of the technology adopted by NASA or whoever from this dumbass show (which CERTAINLY didn't originate from the show I promise you) is like taking an apple off the tree and making an apple pie...the end result is a far cry from the thing you started with...
