Today I was driving, and I had my windows down, so I gave a dollar to this homeless guy at a stoplight. He thanked me, and just kind of stood there surveying the other cars, and after a second he looked at me and said,

"Why's everybody so unhappy?"
It really put things in perspective.

I'm going to be ok.

Well Europe, it's been fun, but I can't wait to be home.

Yeah, we definitely landed in London about 20 minutes after the terrorist attacks. The people at the train station even sold us a ticket to a station that had already been attacked. But we're alright, and so is London, and this place is amazing ( Read more... )

Things will get bad, but they'll get better... you can only get so low before you're forced to make a change. The rest of my life is a question, and at this point, I wouldn't have it any other way. I don't know why, but I really like it when street lights go out right as I walk under them.

Oh, and I graduated on Wednesday.

Well, God damn. I've got about two weeks left of high school... then the SATs (backwards, I know)... then i'm going to Europe with my brother (London, Paris, and Amsterdam with him and then probably Barcelona, Florence, Nice, and Rome without him)... as soon as I get back i'm moving out, and then it's just working and ACC until the Spring semester ( Read more... )
