Recently I realized that I lacked a masterpost/am not the world's greatest tagger. So I asked myself, which would I rather do: compile everything here into one giant list, or work on one of the two essays that I have due this week?

Peace on Earth (pg-13/ mild AU!Dean/Lisa; Dean/Castiel/ An AU based on the events of 5.04. As Dean dies in 2014, Atropos shows him things from his past and things that could have been, bringing him from a time when he would have died for Castiel to a different world where he and Sam defeated Lucifer, but demons still manage to drive him away from his idyllic new life with Lisa and Ben. Meanwhile, Castiel and Lucifer discuss Heaven, Hell, and humanity in the rose gardens of the Jackson County Sanitarium. Alone these events would be meaningless, but together, they just might change the world). Written for the 2011 deancasbigbang.
Chaos With Better Lighting (r/ friends-with-benefits Castiel/Balthazar; Dean/Castiel; Sam/Jessica/ Sam and Dean Winchester were separated after their father's execution and raised as the heirs to Hell and Heaven respectively. According to prophecy, they one day have to duel to the death because… well, because of reasons. It isn't a very clear prophecy. Meanwhile, Castiel, lowest-ranking prince in all of Heaven, has just learned that he is to marry Lord Dick Roman.
No one is particularly happy about any of this.
Things change when they all end up at Singer's Salvage School. Sam and Dean are reunited; Dean and Castiel are roommates who want more. And as their friendships grow, hanging between them like a perfect ray of sunshine (or possibly a deadly bolt of lightning) is the possibility of maybe being able to run away, and gain the freedom that they all covet). Written for the 2012 spn_j2_bigbang. Note: this doesn't take place in actual Season Five, but it borrows heavily from it, so.
Through Heaven's Eyes (pg-13/ Sam/Castiel/ After Castiel says something he regrets, he visits Sam in his dreams to try to make things up. It turns into an attempt to convince Sam of his self-worth.)

I Will Answer (pg-13/ background Dean/Lisa/ Domestic life isn't as safe as it should be. A work accident lands Dean in the hospital. Castiel ends up visiting).
