A small and insignificant point, but it catches me every time.

I just can't reconcile the use of bath for bathroom when I'm reading fic. I know I should just get past it, but without fail I have a mental wtf? moment. A bath is a bath to me and is situated in a bathroom and I just can't get over itOn with your usual Sunday, my friends. Apologies

I've never heard that, which is just as well, because 'bathroom' to describe any room that doesn't actually have a bath in it is still something I can't hear without ERUPTING IN CAPSLOCKY RAGE. And it seems to be getting more and more common among Brits! Aaargh! At least it's not 'restroom'. *twitch*
