I'm sorry it's taken me so long to check in. I've just caught up on your other drabbles and gone squishy over them (Toby and Molly! *thud*) and saved the best for last. This is such a lovely treat and it's done me the world of good.

It's a sign of a remarkable relationship that he wakes her up and she's still pleased to see him. ;) I adore her picturing him, and that his flowers have seen better days. I wish we could follow them inside, but there are so many things they don't tell. They are so right, here. I miss you and sharing a conception of right that is no less right for being open to interpretation. I'm so glad you haven't entirely given up.
