Scary and Wacky Driving

Aug 03, 2008 15:49

My desire to move to a quiet place in the country where I would never drive again conflicts with my love of driving. Today is pushing things to the "quiet country" end of the scale.

We now know what happens when a car strikes the temporary barriers. )

i am sorry for the multitude of idiots that seem to be out more lately. i could tell you a couple of stories from my trip to go retrieve my car at Matt's today, but that would make things worse not better. as for no reading or programming, i am sorry too. i know how much you love both, but i may have a solution. depending on how much free time you and your loved ones have, have someone read to you. if they are too busy, i can read to you as well. i miss it [and Matt won't let me read to him :'-( ] hope everything gets better. call me if you want to talk.

I'd always kind of wondered about those temps. Gonna be thinking of y'all next time I go through there now.

Careful... Make sure you're also thinking about the people that don't notice they're about to merge! Here's hoping you have better luck there.

I've always hated driving in Dallas. It was always worse than any other city in Texas. However, I've found that Utah is even worse T_T. no, really. these people are insane. they're so terrible, that there's a name for utah drivers..."Utards"
