Due to the company being a sponsor of QMF, I managed to get a double pass to the Sunday session. Carmen and I went, and despite the fact that most of the music was really mellow, folky music, it was pretty decent most of the time. Saw Muse, supported by... The Checks, I think, with Darren, Mark and Carmen. The Checks were good, and Muse were fantastic. As expected, they had fantastic lighting (no lasers though!) and lots of big bombastic songs. On the night of this show, there were three gigs that I could attend in the Geelong region: You Am I at the Torquay Hotel, Stephen Cummings at The Rose (also in Torquay), or Cog at the Geelong Hotel.
