This is the complete story of New York/DC 2005. On sunday morning we arrived after about 24 hours of travelling and walked around for a bit before climbing the Empire State Building. And it was fantastic there was like, sunshine and stuff. Oh how the sunhine was sorely missed. There was also loads of fresh fruit and beaches with uncannily warm water, almost too warm. I just ate two candy canes and finally I'm starting to feel like Christmas is nearly here. Its weird, at home, I cant avoid Christmas. From far earlier than now its impossible to miss - all the shops have the decorations and all the Westfields play those horrible tinkly arrangements of all the Christmas carols. On the weekend was the Theatre Arts performance where the first year theatre students presented excerpts from plays from all over the world. I never knew so many people I know are so talented.
