I AM DONE WITH FRESHMAN YEAR!!!!!
And 18.03 wasn't even that bad.
Still waiting for 6.041 grades to come out...
And I'm rather exhausted from crew. However, I'm about to leave to go have an end-of-the-year dinner with friends, and then go see Pirates of the Caribbean at midnight! 'Twill be an excellent evening. -

Which means I need to STUDY! (Instead of playing Hearts until 1:00am.)

Finals and such
My friend sent me some opera/classical music, so I've been enjoying that, between studying. Currently listening to Bizet's L'Arlesienne Suites. Carmen is next on my list. It's wonderful!
Finals week is interesting. I don't feel as nearly as stressed as I think I should. I've finished 2 finals, 8.02 (physics) and 6.041 (probability). Physics was ( Read more... ) -

I asked my dad if a professor named Mattuck had taught 18.03 when he was here. That would have been the fall of 1967. He said, "That name sounds really familiar..." (However, he can't confirm it for sure because he hardly ever went to class...)
In other news, HOLY CRAP FINALS START TOMORROW AND I'VE BARELY STARTED STUDYING.

Excitement abounds!
I feel like I must take a moment to share the joys of life:
First off, last weekend was excellent! Primarily because we had a 2000m test on the erg, and I broke 8 minutes!! (7:54!) That was exciting!
I also spent lots and lots of hours in the lab last weekend working on our blimp for 16.00. Our work paid off as we actually had a somewhat successful ( Read more... ) -
