Is This Another Case of Self-Isolation?

I never really had a goal in my life. I always went along with the tide because that was pretty much expected of me. Get good grades. Make it through school. Go to college. Vacation
I've been meaning to update all week and I kept getting sidetracked. Doesn't help I have the equivalent of con flu thanks to my cousin's wedding. I... definitely forgot to post here yesterday. Ed came home at a fairly early time compared to usual and we played Moon Hunters for a while. I miss spending a bunch of time with him on the couch. Long Day After Long Day
I currently have a cat trying to purr and nudge her way into my lap. She's bumping my arm and making this difficult. It's cute. She always picks the worst times to try to climb into our laps.

Fucking Spent
I'm going to keep this brief. I was on my jury duty call from 9:30 AM to 4:45ish PM. We had way too many breaks. They didn't start the selection process until after 2:30. It was absolutely ridiculous. Even the judge apologized for all of the issues and for how long it took us. I wasn't interviewed/questioned and thus I was not picked. Rejoice. I'll ( Read more... ) -
A Brief Moment Between Stressors
We went to Frankie's yesterday for a D&D one-shot. It was a lot of fun. She made us full sized puppets of our characters! We had to put on a play with them (links to parts 1 & 2 of said play). Between the news stories and my personal stressors, I'm getting overly emotional about everything lately. I can cry at the drop of a hat if I'm too sad or too happy about something. It's getting old.

There's a Cat in My Lap
I managed to find a dress online that I liked enough to want to wear to the wedding. Hopefully it gets here before I leave next Friday. I also decided that a cab from O'Hare to my hotel will probably be the best. It seems slightly cheaper than an Uber and it'll most likely be more reliable.
