I'm liking the sound of the spinoff to... but what are he casting spoilers? I haven't heard any of those... And I agree about LA. Every show is placed there. It gets really boring.
They've cast Chris Lowell (Piz from VM), Amy Brenneman (Amy from Judging Amy), Merrin Dungey (Francie from Alias), Timothy Daly and Taye Digg (never heard of either of them, but their IMDB profiles are pretty great) for the pilot "two-hour episode with potential for a spin-off".
Different note: I had no idea you even watched Grey's Anatomy ;)
Oh yeah, I knew about Chris Lowell, just forgot... And Amy Brenneman, I used to love Judging Amy in the earlier seasons. no idea about the others though...
I don't talk about it much in my lj, but I do watch it. My sister got me to watch it, and now I have a crush on George. Which means I have to watch whenever it's on, just cause of him. And for some of the others to.
Your description of Canada makes me sad. But it won't ever be in Canada, because like a third of the stuff on american tv is filmed in Canada but none of it ever ever takes place in Canada, and if it does they cancel it.
Hee, sorry about that. I know it was a bit... I don't know, wrong. I know Canada is a lot more than Vancouver and French. If it cheers you up, I'd love to go to Vancouver and the Canadian part of the Rocky Mountains (the only thing I know about East-Canada is that they speak French there, so I can't really say anything about that).
I had no idea they shoot so much of the stuff on American television in Canada, that's really a lot. But maybe it's a good thing that it won't take place in Canada. From what I can tell, American TV writers love to portray Canadians as Americans who just say "ey" all the time.
Ignore my exaggeration, we do not shoot anywhere near 1/3 of american television. I just like hyperboles. But there are a lot of shows that are filmed in Vancouver. Canadians aren't as different from Americans as we like to pretend, and some of us do say "eh" a lot, so i guess they're not so far off.

Honestly, I hope it bombs because I love her on Grey's. But maybe it'll surprise me.
