Hmmm. Those desserts sound really tasty. We really like smoothies. I don't add sugar to mine, but G adds sugar to his. Blech. Too sweet for me.
Glad it's warmed up enough for you to enjoy the outside. Those pictures remind me of when I lived in Michigan when I was 8. We made tunnels, forts, etc.
wanting to do the no-sugar thing but needing more guidance. . . reading suggestions? more specific recipes? it looks so cold there. . .although we've cooled back down today. : ( bring on the warm weather.
It's not that hard, like I said I went 3-4 years without it at one point. I'm on day 10 of no sugar and am totally over it, went smoothly. I have no desire for it. Loving it. More energy, eating less because of lack of cravings etc.
In recipes you can replace white sugar with half of pure maple syrup or honey or brown rice syrup or agave nectar. There is something called date sugar also which is just ground up dates, you can also buy dates and smash them up. Some people love stevia or Xylitol, natural powder sweeteners. Similar to nutra-sweet but not artificial. And fruit, it's nature's dessert. :-)
