GUHHHHHHHH, I LOVE this.

I haven't read a lot of Mavid in a very long time, but my goodness, this is amazing.

I love how real it feels - all of the little details you captured here, they all flow seamlessly into this story that runs sort of parallel to the story everyone saw play out on tv.

(And dear God in heaven, thank you so much for including Andy and Neal. So many Idol-era fics forget about that part of Dave's life, it's nice to see it.)
