Yesterday, I made all the phone calls to let people who love my mom know what's going on.  Not fun.  Thankfully, my friends blimix and Derek met me at the hospital in the morning.  Blimix is staying with me and being all-purpose wonderful.  When I called the hospital this morning, they said my mom had had a good night.  Rest is good; I got the first full
