Ugh.
My plans have changed. I'm staying in Waltham for the foreseeable future. My mom's condition has changed again. Not imminent-kickoff change, but things are once again more serious, and the doc said when asked that it would be better if I stayed. So I am.

I appreciate the sentiment behind the encouraging words, but frankly, I'm not sure they're warranted. My problem isn't fear of the procedure, but fear that they won't be willing to do it because Mom's in such lousy shape.
At this point, I'm just hoping the milk thistle does what it did before and kick-starts her liver again. She only started taking it again 3 days ago, though, and it'll take a couple of weeks, minimum.
